# Honey -  Bay Roan Appaloosa Mare - $200

Honey is a stocky built Appaloosa mare who is losing her vision. She gets around without issue and is good with other horses. She appears to be otherwise sound and healthy. She is easy to handle and would make a great companion horse. Honey is offered for $200 payable to the owner. It is very likely that if not sold she will end up in the kill pen pen priced for more. I don't have an age on her but they were thinking she was in her mid teens.

Sold on 7/14/2016
# Blue - 12yr  Appaloosa Mare - $200

Blue is a very sweet Appaloosa mare who is losing her vision. She gets around great, trots and gallops in her field, and appears to be otherwise sound and healthy. It is very likely that if not sold she will end up in the kill pen pen priced for more.

# Dugan and Lacey -  Gray Arabian  - $0

I received this message and am hoping these two wonderful horses can find a new home together. "Hi, my name is Dugan and I am a 23-24 year old gelding. My person passed away leaving my friend Lacey, a 26 year old mare, and I needing a home." Dugan and Lacey were updated last April on all their shots and even had their inter-nasal strangles vaccine done. Lacey had her teeth floated last fall. They had their hooves trimmed last summer and are now due for a trim. Neither has been ridden in a while,, probably about 2 years. They have been together for more than 10 years and a home together would be best for them. They are both easy to handle, and said to have been a pleasure to ride in the past.

# Sugar - 15yr Chestnut Quarter Horse Mare - $400

Sugar is a teenage Quarter Horse Mare who has undergone professional training and is said to be broke to ride. We were unable to catch her today to confirm her age. She moves nicely and her hooves appear to be in good shape. When she was running around today she appeared to be off on her left front. We were told that this had only happened in the last day or two and that they felt it was a stone bruise.

# Squeek - 4yr Gray Arabian Stallion - $200

Squeak is a 4 year old Arabian colt. At this time we do not know his registration and so he should be considered grade. Squeak stands about 14hh. I felt around and I personally believe that this colt has both testicles descended, but a photo has been provided. This boy is overall in good condition, but he has a healing injury to his left hock. He did seem to move slightly off and I will be posting a video that shows his movement. This boy is very easy to catch, friendly, calm, and tolerant. He is well mannered, leads, backs, picks up his feet and is just generally a good boy.

# Pippa - 6yr Chestnut Arabian Mare - $200

Pippa is an approximately 6 year old Chestnut Arabian mare. We do not have her registration information right now, so she should be considered grade. Pippa stands about 14-14.1hh. She is a bit thin, has an old abscess blowout on her RH, old wire cuts, and still shows the marks from healed rain rot. She walks slightly odd so that she gives off a bit of a "straddle legged" appearance, but does not seem at all reluctant to walk off and move out. She looks very similar to Kate, so anyone interested in these mares should double check their markings before taking one home :)

Other on 9/10/2012
# Kate - 8yr Chestnut Arabian Mare - $0

Kate is supposedly a 8 year old Arabian mare, but right now we don't have her registration info and so she should be considered grade. She stands about 13.3hh and is not in good condition. Kate has cracks on three hooves, has some rain rot and may be wormy. She is rather underweight, but her belly honestly makes me wonder if she is bred, although it is said that she is not. Kate is easy to catch, halter broke, and picks up her feet. She is easy to handle, but does not seem all that interested in people. Kate does have white in her main and tail, as well as white hairs sprinkled through her coat.

# Butch - 1yr Buckskin Half Arabian Stallion - $400

Butch appears to be a long yearling and stands about 13hh. He is supposed to be registrable as Arab or Half-Arab, but right now he is just being listed as grade. His sire is Bruce and his dam is said to be Dream. Butch is a sooty buckskin and is an intact colt. He is cute, and in pretty good condition although you can still see healed over rain rot. He is friendly, calm, and well mannered. He is pretty easy to catch, backs, leads, picks up his front feet very nicely and his back ones only slightly more hesitantly. He is very easy to handle.

Other on 9/10/2012
# Bruce - 8yr Buckskin Half Arabian Stallion - $400

Registered as "CW Child of the Wind" with AHA - Papers Unknown

We were told that Bruce is a 8 year old Arabian stallion... but he may in fact be a Half-Arabian named "CW Child of the Wind". He is an extremely good looking boy and has nice form. He stands approximately 14.2hh, is a bit thin and possibly wormy. He does seem to walk a bit odd in his hind end and video will be provided to show his movement. He is very calm and easy to handle. He leads, backs, ties, picks up his feet and allows himself to be handled. He just has his teeth floated two weeks ago.

Other on 9/10/2012
# Rosie - 26yr Bay Arabian Mare - $0

Rosie is said to be a 26 year old Egyptian Arabian mare, but her registration is currently unknown and so she should be considered grade. She is an older mare with possible blindness and decreased vision in her right eye. Rosie is very thin and will require some tlc and rehab. She is gorgeous and just as sweet as she looks. She was very easy to work with and in my opinion, has probably had some groundwork training. She picked up her feet nicely and does have some cracks in her hooves. She stands 14hh and her teeth were recently floated.

Sold on 9/3/2012
# Nell - 3yr Black / White Half Arabian Mare - $400

Nell is a black and white pinto Half-Arab mare. We do not know the status of her registration, so right now she should be considered grade. She is supposed to be 3-4 years old, but she decided not be caught today so we cannot confirm that. She stands about 15hh and appears healthy and sound.

Sold on 8/31/2012
# Marvel - 20yr Chestnut Arabian Mare - $0

Marvel is a chestnut Arabian mare in her 20's. Marvel stands 14'2hh and is blind in her right eye from an injury. Marvel is underweight and needs a home willing to help her in her recovery process. She is beautiful and affectionate. No training history is known but she was easy to handle and work with. She picked up her feet nicely but they do have some cracks. She also has what appears to be possible arthritis in the right front knee and a soft bump on that same knee. No visible lameness issue was observed and she seemed to walk easily without pain. She has some old scarring on her chest area as well.

Sold on 8/31/2012
# Dream - 20yr Gray Arabian Mare - $250

Registered as "Girlish DreamWNG" with AHA - Papers Unknown

Dream appears to be an 20 year old Fleabitten gray Arabian mare. She may be named "Girlish Dream WNG", but we cannot confirm that at this time and right now she should be considered grade. She stands about 14.1hh and although a bit thin with hoof cracks, appears to be in overall pretty decent condition. This mare is exceedingly calm, docile and gentle. She is friendly, sweet and easy to handle. She halters, leads, backs, ties, picks up her feet and is said to be broke to ride.

Sold on 8/31/2012 to Kylie
# Autumn - 8yr Chestnut / White Paint Mare - $400

Autumn is an 8 year old chestnut and white pinto mare. She is a beautiful mare with one blue eye and eyeliner. She stands 15hh and is in good condition. She currently has shoes on her front hooves. Autumn has undergone saddle training and is broke to ride. She is still working out some issues and is best suited for an advanced rider or trainer. She is a horse who would benefit from having a job or something to do. She picked up her feet with no issues and was easy to handle, although a bit pushy.

Sold on 8/31/2012
# Sarah - 20yr Gray Arabian Mare - $0

Registered as "Ravenwood Sara" with AHA - Papers Unknown

Sarah is supposedly a 20 year old Arabian mare. We do not know her registration right now, so she should be considered grade. She stands 14'2hh and is still in very thin condition. Sara is very gentle and easy to work with. She picked up her feet nicely and was respectful of my space. No training history is known although my observation is that she has at least had groundwork training. Sara recently had her teeth floated and has had farrier work. Her hooves are still not in the best shape and she also has multiple injuries on her legs from getting up. Sarah will need to go to someone who has rehabilitation experience as she will need special feeding until she regains her weight, and she should be prevented from getting too wet or cold.

Sold on 8/30/2012 to Cindy
# Poe - 19yr Black / White Half Arabian Mare - $0

Registered as with - Papers

Poe is a black and white Half-Arabian mare. At this time we do not know her registration and so she should be considered grade. She was said to be in her late teens to early twenties, but her teeth look older then that to me. Poe stands 14.3hh and is in extremely poor shape. She has assorted scrapes, cracks in her hooves and her knees seem to be slightly arthritic, but her main problem is that she is emaciated. Poe will need special rehabilitative care in order to recover, but it will probably be mostly just an issue of feeding her often and correctly as well as keeping her from getting too wet or cold. She is up to date on her vet care and in fact just had her teeth done two weeks ago (the vet did say she had a couple loose teeth). Poe was very docile, sweet and gentle when we were handling her. She is halter broke, leads, backs, picks up her feet, allows her mouth to be messed with, and is just generally easy to handle.

# Alice - 20yr Dark Bay Thoroughbred Mare - $0

Registered as "Unknown" with Jockey Club - Papers Unavailable

Alice is a 20 year old TB mare who is said to have raced at one time, but her identity is not currently known. Alice stands 16hh, has a tattoo, and appears to have stiffness resulting from arthritis in her left front, and a left rear sock. She is said to be broke to ride but would be best suited as a pasture pet in my opinion. She is very sweet and easy to handle. She was reluctant to give me her feet and I did not press the issue. When we saw these horses today Alice was running all around and appeared to be sound without any reluctance to move out.

Sold on 8/30/2012
# Charlie - 12yr Dark Bay Thoroughbred Gelding - $0

Registered as "Unknown" with Jockey Club - Papers Unavailable

Charlie is a 12 year old dark bay OTTB gelding. He has a tattoo, but as of now we have not been able to figure out his registered name. Charlie taped at 15'1 hh and is thin. He is a cribber who has little of his top teeth left due to his habit. His hooves are in fair condition and I did not notice any lameness issues. Charlie is a very sweet horse who was very affectionate and wanted attention. He was easy to work with and picked up his feet nicely. He does have a tattoo but no other information regarding the tattoo info is known at this time. Charlie has been through some basic training and is said to be broke to ride. He does have some white marks at the withers that could be older saddle marks.
