Carrie was led through auction with no info. She was nervous but did well in the environment. She was easy to catch from the pen and led well. She appeared to be sound at a walk and did fine around the other horses. I will update her post when I have additional information. I would guess her to be about 14'3hh and have at least some training. Her ground manners were decent and she was easy to catch and loaded easily. She looks to have a previous hind leg injury that has left a scar, but I was not able to spend enough time with her to evaluate.

Gauva is part of a small herd that came in that were said to be in the 4 year age range. SHe has a beautiful build and I would guess She stands approx 16hh. I have not taped her or handled her and do not think she is halter broke. If they were handled it hasn't been for some time and they would need to be started from the ground up. She is going to be a wonderful project for someone and looks to have a ton of potential. She spent time in the sick pen with the others she came in with and has since returned to general population. She has what looks to be an old wire cut on one back leg that has left a raised bump. I did not see a soundness issue because of that but did notice that so I'm mentioning it. I have not been able to see her up close to inspect it, but wanted people to be aware. To me, it appeared to be cosmetic.

She is at least halter broke and is a gorgeous well built mare. I do not believe she is saddle broke. Her hooves need trimming but aren't bad, just a little long, and she appeared to be sound at a trot.

Able ran through auction loose and was said to be 10 years old and green broke. He has recently had his teeth done and did appear to be in decent body condition and sound from what I could see. He was sold as sound through the auction ring and I saw no issues with him. He stands approx 14'3hh and is a nice gentle horse. He was sold through no fault of his own as his owner took a job out of town and could no longer keep him. He was vaccinated and wormed last November and trimmed at the end of January.

Varun is a nice stout gelding who previously worked at a cattle feedlot. He is broke to ride and was ridden there but he is a quirky guy and can be jittery, possibly because of the blue spot in one eye. My personal opinion is that he needs a soft hand, some kindness, and someone with patience to work with him. I am guessing him to be in the 12 year age range and approx 15'1hh. I didn't spend an extended amount of time with him because he was supposed to ship today, but ended up not being needed this time. He did not appear to have any soundness issues, and nothing that I saw being an issue except for the blue spot in one eye.

Darci is a real sweetheart of a mare who is in your pocket friendly. She will follow you around and wants to be your best friend. She is the type of horse that you could love on all day and would be an excellent companion for both horse and human. Her previous owners said she is not sound and should not be ridden. I didn't see her at more than a walk, but she was not visibly lame at a walk. She gets along great with the other horses at the lot, and liked to be my shadow, following me around everywhere and saying hello. Iscape was sorted for the last shipping load but managed to escape into the next pen to be with her friend and avoided the truck. She is now in the shipping pen once again so I asked if I could list her to give her a chance. I don't know much about her except that she is a smart mare and very lucky to have escaped the last truck. Her legs are not perfectly straight and turn out a bit so she was sorted off to ship. She's a nice mare, probably about 14'3hh and in good body condition. I did not see any lameness and she has no issue picking up speed. She had a story that went with her, but at this point, the feedot owner may no longer have it because she was scheduled to ship. She appeaars to be a younger mare. I didn't look at her teeth but would guess her to be under 10. She is personable, gets along well with the other horses, and is determined. She is a mare with a lot of heart and strong will that will carry on to be a good loyal partner for someone who can look beyond her imperfections.

This young filly is adorable and has a really beautiful color in person, and 2 nice white socks and a pretty star. She came in with "Ivar" and "Im Steady" and is pretty much glued to Ivar's side at all times. She is friendly, easy to handle, loves attenttion, and really seems to like people. I don't know how old she is, but would guess in the 2 year age range. I didn't try to halter and lead her, but she came right up and had no issue with me touching and scratching her all over. I would guess that she is halter broke with as friendly and easy as she was. Impress stands approx 14hh and looks to be in decent condition and has been gaining weight at the lot.

Greenwood came into the lot with minimal info. I would guess him to be at least started but I don't have training history on him. He is very easy to handle, loves attention, picks up his feet, tolerates weight on his back, and behaves like a complete gentleman. He has a laid back personality and gets along great with all of the other horses in his pen. Greenwood will seek you out for attention and was always the first to greet me in the pen. He stands approx 15'3-16hh and is built nice and sturdy. The only flaw I saw on him was an abnormal growth as pictured on a rear hoof, and his fronts are in need of trimming as well. He did not appear to have any visibe lameness even with the hoof issue, but I did not see him at more than a trot.

Golden Graham is a very nicey put together Quarter Horse mare with the sweetest personality. She stands approx 15hh and looks to be in good body condition. He had some blood on his nose as pictured, but did not have any gashes or wounds that were anything other than minor that I saw. He will clean up beautifully and shine with some good care and TLC.

Deacon is said to be a 20 year old gelding mountain horse. He loads, hauls, ties, and is said to be broke for just about anyone. He was ridden through auction by a beginner and should be a nice safe horse for someone who just wants to ride. He is said to have many miles on him on the high mountain trails, he crosses water, logs, bridges, and has a very laid back personality where nothing bothers him. He is good with other animals, llamas, dogs, and even ATV's. He does have some age and work related arthritis in his knees but seemed to have close to full flexion in his joints and seemed sound at a walk and trot. Deacon is a treasure of a gelding who loves attention and will seek you out for companionship. He is easy to handle, does what is asked of him, and is pleasant to be around. He gets aong great with the other horses, and everyone it seems. He could benefit from a good joint supplement to help maintain him and some good nutrition, but other than that, he should be ready to go for someone who just wants to ride after quarantine off the lot. He would make a great beginner horse for someone just learning or a strady friend for someone who just wants a trustworthy horse. This guy is a real treasure and should have many years left to be a grea horse for someone.

She is a larger built mare and it's guessed that she is in her teens, but I didn't get an age on her. She picked up her feet, was easy to handle, and was said to have been ridden at one time. She is gentle on the ground, gets along well with the other horses, and should be a nice horse to re-start and become your next partner. Dutchess stands approx 15'2-3hh and is a nice ranch bred, ranch raised, solid QH mare, who is bred well but sold as grade. Papers are not available.

Price TBD- UPDATE- We were contacted by someone who knows this horse and she said the horse can buck under saddle. Kadillac is a nice little mare who stands just over 14hh. She is broke to ride and has nice manners on the ground. She appears to be in the 10 year age range and will need some TLC as her back leg has been injured. She was slightly off on it but was not visibly off prior to the injury. She has a sweet temperment and gets along great with the other horses. Kadillac is a very cute and friendly mare who might make a good trail partner for a smaller rider with additional training.

Klamath is a gray Arabian gelding. He was stated to be 12 years old and his teeth look like that is a good possibility. He seems to have good quality feet, but his front feet look okay and he will lift them up without problem. His hind feet are very long and he doesn't want to pick them up. If you push him to pick up his hind feet he tries to kick you (he did in fact kick one of the assessors and send her flying across his stall). He is in okay weight and he has halter rub marks. He is a bit rude and pushy, but he seems to actually have his ground work and manners if he chooses to use them. This horse was said to be a pasture pet only.

Kirkland is a chestnut gelding. He has some shading and spotting through his coat that is causing folks to call him an Appaloosa, but I think he is actually a Paint with faint sabino color and birdcatcher spots. He stands about 15.2hh and is in average weight and condition. His front feet look okay and he will lift them up without problem. His hind feet are very long and he doesn't want to pick them up. If you push him to pick up his hind feet he tries to kick you. This horse is not even remotely sound. During the auction they called what is wrong with him Stringhalt, but I don't think that is it. In any case though, he is unsound in both hinds. His left eye is a bit red and he has an odd lump underneath it, but he seems to see just fine. He leads, ties and backs well, but he is kinda and pushy and rude. He was said to be broke to ride, but that he hadn't been ridden in two years.

Kent is a chestnut gelding of Quarter Horse type. We think that he is approximately 7 years old and stands about 14.3hh. He is in okay weight, but his feet are overdue and flared. His front right knee is fat and lumpy, and he has scars on both front heel bulbs. This gelding leads, but was otherwise rude and pushy. He is obviously unsound, reported to not be broke to ride and is said to not like men.

Dusty is a solid bay roan mare. She stands about 15hh and appears to be in good healthy condition and her hooves looked good from what we could see. She decided not to let herself be caught and evaluated. We have no history on her and do not know if she is broke.

This bay and white mare wouldn't let us catch her and I doubt that she is halter broke. She did give us enough opportunity to say that we think she is sound at W/T/C. I would guess her to be about 14.3hh but honestly I didn't get close enough to say for sure; she could be bigger but I doubt smaller. She just had a foal pulled off of her, but could be pregnant again.
