Please don't fundraise or contribute to fundraising for the purchase of horses! Read why here.
DescriptionCarrie was a 23 year old QH mare who was purchased by the RB fund at the August auction. She was brought with in with #025 by an older man who could no longer ride. She was a roping horse for 15 years and had been part of a packing outfit. She had severe arthritis in her hip which was obvious when she walked. This pretty little mare was trying so hard to stand and be strong but it was very clear her little legs hurt. Since arthritis is incurable and riding would only exacerbate it, we made the decision to purchase her in the ring. She went to QAR that night and is no longer in pain. RIP pretty girl.
