HistoryPrevious owner is unknown, but apparently had to give up Donald because of foreclosure on his property. StoryDonald, a 30 year old grade quarter horse, was on his way to ESP until the person who had been asked to trailer him down by the owner asked the owner for permission to list him on CL on the off chance that someone at AH would offer him a home. I offered to give Donald a permanent home, and a few days later, after numerous concerned people offered help, he arrived June 1st, 2012. He was pretty thin, probably about 200 pounds underweight. He's still got a ways to go, but he's turning out to be a handsome boy.

When bringing home a new equine it is always wise to practice quarantine procedures.
Horses coming from an auction or kill pen environment present a higher than average likelihood of having been exposed to disease or virus.
It is highly recommended that all horses purchased be subject to a 30 day quarantine prior to being introduced to healthy equines.
