DescriptionOregon is said to be 10 years old, gaited, and used on trails. Evaluation to come.
Gorgeous boy, standing around 15.1 hands. Ridden through the sales ring. Very calm and quiet. He watched me approaching with a halter, and he just stood there, waiting for me.
Backs, picks up his feet no problems.
As of Tuesday he was the low man on the totem pole, and not making any waves; just avoiding any conflicts with the other horses. I did notice that he was keeping an eye out, making sure the more dominate horses weren't coming too close. He does like to hang out with the black gelding (another calm mellow guy) Initially he was a little apprehensive about us touching his ears and poll area; he would raise his head higher. He didn't give us any trouble about haltering him though. Of course we had to spend some time just rubbing his ears and face... and he loved it.
These pictures do not do him justice. I wouldn't have thought it possible to take a bad photo of this gorgeous guy, but somehow we managed to take several. Sorry.
He seemed to like to hang close by us. All the photos of him without a halter? That's me looking over my shoulder; I kept seeing a horsey shadow in front of me while I was taking photos of another horse; yep, it was this guy.Purchasing InformationEstimated Deadline: 10/21/13 92380 Hwy 99, Junction City, OR 97448 (800) 288-6217 @ 9am-4pm
