DescriptionThis mare has pulled on my hearstrings since day one. She has been sort of a feedlot mascot wearing her yellow "necklace" collar when she first arrived. She was in awful shape, very thin, and had been on a very long journey. I would be happy to share her story with her potential new home. Not much is known about her other than she is well traveled and is certainly a survivor. I do not know her age, breeding, or anything she may or may not have done in the past. I've grown to love her from a distance for months and the time has come where she must move on, either to a home with patience to gain her trust and work with her, or ship, as she cannot be a permanent resident. She appears to be a younger mare and now in pretty good condition. Her feet are overgrown as would be expected, but she seems sound from what I can see. This mare may be just a plain old girl but she really deserves a chance after all she has been through. She stands about 14'1hh.
