DescriptionJamesDean is an older bay gelding of Thoroughbred type. This boy is an older horse and we think he is likely in his upper twenties, going by his teeth, but we have provided a photo so that you can judge his age for yourself. He is 15.3hh but has huge withers as is typical for the breed and is thin so his back is hollowed, exaggerating the drop. He has roaned out socks on a couple feet and a large roaned star. This handsome old gentleman won me over right away. JD has an odd lump on the left side of his head and we have no clue what it is, but we have provided it's photo so that you can see it. He is thin and badly needs some TLC but he was very kind and obliging of everything I asked. He picked up all four feet nicely and has recently had at least front shoes because nail holes were still visible, his feet appear well formed but in bad condition. He backs and yields hindquarters nicely. Out back he was very calm in his pen. He did not mind me jumping next to him and braced when I pulled on his withers.
