Please don't fundraise or contribute to fundraising for the purchase of horses! Read why here.
DescriptionGold Card is a past rodeo athlete with some battle scars to prove he's tougher than the rest. He was a slaughter only horse but there is just something really special about him that I asked to share him and give him a chance to find a home. He chose to stand by me and put his head on my shoulder while the rest of the horses ate their new hay. He would have probably stood there for an hour if I would have let him. He's very gentle, extremely loving, and did everything asked of him. He stands about 15hh and appears to be healthy. We picked out his hooves and it appears he has high thrush in his front hooves and his frogs have started to slough off. He was said to have been a possible navicular horse but it has not been confirmed. I did ask a farrier who saw him and he thought he would still be fine for lighter riding. He walks and trots without any visible issue and I do not believe he is in pain.
