DescriptionGuardian is a 9 year old chestnut Paint mare. This mare is a registered APHA horse and supposedly has 30 points in halter. She is an extremely well bred mare. Her sire is Sir Quinto who has a ROM in Halter and Western Pleasure, and her dam's sire is the legendary Barlink Macho Man. She stands about 15.1hh and is a very big bodied girl. She is at good weight and in good condition although her feet are overdue. She is very friendly, easy to handle and well mannered. She leads, ties, backs, yields, but was not great about picking up her feet. This mare was rock solid in the kill pen and one of my absolute favorites. At one point while leading her I tripped on the uneven footing and would have fallen except that I caught myself on her rope halter. That had to have hurt her, but she didn't move a muscle and then let me use her as a horsey-cane to the fenceline where discovered I had sprained my ankle. She was my buddy on the lot and stayed at my side the entire time I was in the mare pen. She didn't let the other horses near me unless I directly went to them, which reminded me of how some dogs will growl if strangers approach you, but not if you call folks over or go to them.Purchasing InformationDeadline: 9/6/13 Location: Sunnyside, WA Contact: Sabrina | info@auctionhorses.org | 206-250-5115
