DescriptionGrotto is a big bay gelding. He may be a very large boned Quarter Horse or he might have some draft in him. I am guessing him to be in his early 20's based on his teeth, but a photo of them has been provided so that you can judge for yourself. He stands 15.3hh, is underweight and his feet are long. This boy walked right up to me yesterday and introduced himself. He is very friendly, sweet, personable and calm. He was very easy to halter, lead, tie, back, yields his quarters, and picks up his feet. Basically he is a great big gentleman. I don't know any history on him, but I am betting that he is a riding horse. I put a string in his mouth and he held it and carried it all around in his mouth like a bit for over five minutes. He didn't let the string go until I took the loop over his ears like you would do with a head stall and then he spit the bit out. He didn't mind at all to have someone jump beside him or lean weight over his back. He appeared to be sound and healthy with no sign of snot as of 8/11/13.Purchasing InformationDeadline: 8/19/13 Location: Sunnyside, WA Contact: Tash | info@auctionhorses.org | 425-985-9204
