Please don't fundraise or contribute to fundraising for the purchase of horses! Read why here.
DescriptionZiva was a standardbred mare that was given to my daughter. We lost her first horse due to a twisted intestine so she didn't ride for a year. I told her to put an ad up seeing if anyone need to rehome a horse that she could train for trails and schooling shows. We were contacted by a woman almost immediately stating that she had a horse she could no longer keep asking if we wanted her. My family said We did, so we set up a time for her to bring Ziva to us. Ziva stepped off the trailer, she was perfect. The woman said she was 10 yrs old so we were happy. My daughter trained her all summer, took her to a schooling show and just had fun. This fall she got sick with colic, we found out she was actually older then 10. After a week of treating her and watching over her she passed away.
