DescriptionDread is a very nice gelding and I think he might be one of my favorites. I am guessing him to be about 8-9 based on his teeth, but have provided a photo for you to guess for yourself. He stands around 14.2-3hh but does seem taller. He is underweight and his feet are pretty bad. He appeared sound, but does have a bump on his right hind cannon - it was cold, hard, and did not seem to bother him. Dread was absolutely a sweet heart today. All the horses were riled up because of the sorting, but he let me walk right up to him and snag him with just a lead rope. He was super polite, respectful, and attentive to what I was asking him. He followed me easily from between crowded horses out into an open area and didn't even give them the time of day. He leads, ties, backs, yields quarters and politely picked up his feet. I actually had a lot of trouble getting pictures of him and finally had to enlist help to hold him because he kept following me and was too close for a good picture. He didn't care if you leaned over his back or jumped beside him - in fact he seemed to brace as though he expected you to get up. He dropped his head when I put my hand up to his poll and let me look at his teeth without any fuss. He is said to be broke to ride, but we could not test him today. This boy could not have presented himself better if he had tried.Purchasing InformationDeadline: Passed. Could ship anytime after 7/31/13.
