DescriptionUmma is said to be in her early teens and stands approx 15hh. The previous owners who had her for only a short time said they saddled and lunged her and she did well, but they never got on her. I was told she is friendly, easy to handle, and nice on the ground. AH volunteers have not seen her in person and these are the only photos we have at this time. Her deadline is Friday morning, 1/12/18. Please contact Sam with any questions or to view.
This is added from someone who knew her:
"15 yr old Morgan paint mare. Was solid on trails(crosses water, bridges, rides down the highway, good with dogs, horses, loved kids) needed work in an arena BUT my indoor was small so maybe she just needed more room to move out. Can be cold backed is she sits. Needs a flex tree saddle and cinched up slow. I always lunged her first before riding like I do every other horse I would ride. Good in stall or pasture but need dry pasture. She is insulin resistant but its easily monitored with diet..she has a knot on the hind ankle, has had 3 vet checks(at different times) and was deemed sound by each of the vets. Can possibly get those records."
