DescriptionThis gelding ran through auction and was said to be sold for slaughter only. He looks to be in good shape, sound from what I could see at a trot, and quite the good looking gelding. I was told he is in his mid teens and has emphysema. There is something about him that is special. Maybe someone wants to take a chance on him or let him be a pet? He gets along great with the other horses and is very sweet and loves scratches. Update 4/7/17: Alpo was found and his identity has been confirmed. He was believed to have shipped but must have been in the sick pen and another unlisted chestnut similar most likely shipped. He is very lucky to be alive but is currently at risk for shipping on the next load out. New photos of him have been added to his listing.
