DescriptionDiva stands approx 15hh and was sold through auction as sound and needing an experienced rider. She has been at the feedlot for a few months and just came out of quarantine. There are photos of her from when she first came to the lot along with current photos taken last week, and additional photos provided by a previous owner that had sold her November of 2015. This was her previous for sale ad: "She was Elegant Bally Bar is a 10 year old mare standing 15hh. Walk, trots, lopes, stops and backs. Three years ago she was used to gather cattle and she was started on barrels. Never hauled and would need a refresher but she is the perfect mare to work cattle, barrel race, trail ride or even preform in a show ring. Started riding her again about a month ago and no buck. My training horses come first so I never have time to work her. She needs to go to a home that will use her and love her. Up to date on shots, worming, chiro, etc. She bathes, trailers, stands for farrier, ride alone or in a group." Her consignor to auction stated that she is "mentally unsound" for riding and it is speculated that that was said because she has an issue with her ears being touched and should be worked with daily on that issue and the people who had bought her were not consistent with that. She has been a friendly feedlot resident who gets along great in a herd. Diva is a quality horse that should do great after a tune up and someone to work with her on her ear issue. She was wormed last August by the consignor and again at the feedlot with Ivermectin. She was last trimmed in July so she will need her hooves trimmed. Her last vaccines and chiropractic were in November of 2015 as far as I know. Papers and transfer are in order. In the photos from last week her knee appears to be slightly swollen but I did not notice any lameness. I am guessing she could have slipped on ice.
