DescriptionYamila came in after her 8 month old foal was taken off of her yesterday. She is at a good weight and looks to be on good body condition. Her hooves looked okay but do need trimming. Her last foal was sired by an Andalusian and it is possible she was bred back. She is a nice big mare and looks to be a younger mare. They didn't say her age but I would guess her to be under 10. I tried to look at her teeth and she was not very cooperative. She hauled and led well but I don't know what training she has had if any. She was easy to walk up to and catch after being put into the pen with other horses. She picked up her feet and behaved very well in her new environment. I know this mare has potential. She had her foal taken away, was hauled to the feedlot, put in a pen with about 30 strange horses, and still I could walk right up to her and she behaved very well. She really seemed to like attention and even after going through all of that in a day, she was still friendly.
