DescriptionVallero is a nice stout gelding who was previously used to work at a cattle feedlot. He was laid off from his job and replaced with an ATV, and has now found himself sold to the feedlot. He stands approx 15'3hh and weighs 1450lbs so he is a nice and stocky horse able to carry a larger rider. He moved soundly when I saw him, but it's hard to tell on uneven ground. There are videos available if anyone is interested in him. The vet did a soundness exam and he was tender in the frog area of his left front when she took the hoof testers to it, but the cause is unknown. Vallero is very personable and easy to handle. He is very gentle on the ground, does what is asked of him, and seems like a good natured gelding. He has sat for a bit so will need a tune up, but he should make a nice ranch or trail horse for someone and he has plenty of experience with cows.
