DescriptionWhoever sent this pretty mare to auction gave her one of the worst descriptions and write ups I have seen while still filling something out on her form. They said she is a 12? Arab mare 15h "brown" rescued, ran people over, and bolts off. If that doesn't say they want their rescue horse to go to slaughter, I don't know what does. I was actually shocked to read her info sheet because my impression was quite the opposite. She was incredibly friendly and followed me around for attention. Every time I would walk by her I would give her a little pat on the head and she would follow. She picked up her feet for me, tolerated me pressing my weight on her back, and seemed like a nice gentle mare. She got along great with the other horses but seemed to have a quiet and shy personality, lower in the pecking order. I think her color is anything but plain brown and she looks like a sooty buckskin to me. She is a very pretty mare that didn't seem to have any issues, and looked to be sound as far as I could tell. I really liked her. If I didn't know any better I would have assumed she had been a family horse, not a thrown away rescue someone deemed as unsafe.
