DescriptionNutty Buddy has been used as a kids horse a a summer camp for children. She should be good for anyone to ride and was also used as a youth gaming horse and gave horse rides out of the local pumpkin patches in the fall. She is a very sweet and gentle mare who gets along great with the other horses. She has been vaccinated, wormed, and trimmed recently. The farrier suspected that she has founder that could possibly corrected with farrier work and a suitable diet, but has not been diagnosed by a vet. She is such a nice and safe mare that she is worth putting the time into to help her. She really needs off the feedlot alfalfa and onto a lower sugar grass hay and to properly be evaluated by a professional farrier and/or vet that is knowledgeable with laminitis. My personal opinion judging from my past experiences with my own laminitic horses is that she can be corrected with a low NSC diet and skilled farrier, but that is only my opinion and I am not a vet nor farrier. She did have some heat when I saw her but did not have a pounding digital pulse, nor the typical founder stance, but she was sore on her fronts. Nutty Buddy stands approx 14'3hh.
