DescriptionOmega - 10yr Bay Gelding - $400
Omega is absolutely beautiful in person! I think he might be a Morab, but I'm not positive. He is about 10 years old and stands 14.3 hands.
He is going to make someone extremely happy. He is very sweet, walks right up to you in the pasture, and is very protective. He is in a large field with some cows, and before I haltered him if the cows got too close he would back away from me a little bit and then charge the cows, and then stand between them and me.
He wants to bond with you, and will be your best friend in no time. That said, he needs constant handling because he is not respectful of your space on the lead rope. He stepped on my foot and was quite antsy about being away from his pony friend (who is not available).
He was very wiggly and squirrly about being tacked up, he needs work on this. A 30 or 60 day course with a trainer will do wonders, and he'll be amazing.
Because of his antics while being tacked up, we thought he might be a good gaming prospect. However, under saddle he didn't want to go faster than a walk. He needs his teeth floated very badly, and his feet need a trim. Those two things could have contributed to his lack of desire to move. He went MUCH better in a mechanical hackamore, and has a great stop. His rider only had to shift her weight back and lift up the reins. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, no kick, buck, bolt, rear, anything. He picks up all four feet nicely.
Honestly, this is a really good, sweet horse who needs time and miles with an experienced person and will be an amazing partner for someone.Purchasing InformationLocation: Everson, WA (About 100 miles north of Seattle) Deadline: August 27, 2016 Contact: Dani - (360) 927-2653 (text preferred)
