DescriptionNolte has been one of my favorites at the lot for some time. He is a friendly gelding who always comes up to say hello and loves to be scratched and petted. He came in with a wound on his back leg as shown in the photos, and because of that wound he did not ship to Canada with another kill buyer, He has escaped shipping so many times and it's time he has his chance to find a home despite the scarring on his leg. He ended up going in the quarantine pen at the lot and escaped shipping due to sickness, but is now feeling and looking great, and is sadly at risk for shipping again now that he is out of the quarantine pen. He gets along great with the other horses and does well in a herd setting. I would guess Nolte to be in the 4-5 year age range but, because of where he came from, I don't know anything about him. He looks like he was possibly caught in a fence at one point or got his leg stuck somehow, but to me, it looks like the injury is superficial, and I saw no lameness at a walk or trot. Nolte has quite the personality and always makes me laugh. He is always right there, and if I am in his pen but not paying attention to him, he will come and gently nudge me or fluff my hair. He is a gorgeous horse with a nice build and I suspect someone spent some time with at some point. I can lead him with twine, he picks up his feet, and really tries to be good. I don't know if he was ever started or what was done with him, but I can use his back to write notes, and he doesn't care if I put my weight on him or jump up next to his back. He's a really nice horse and worth taking a chance on, despite his blemish. Nolte stands approx 14'3hh. Purchasing InformationLocation: Sunnyside, WA
