DescriptionMattie is said to be broke to ride and was used as a hunting and packing horse. She has been used on trails and was said to need an experienced rider. She was led through the ring saddled but was not ridden because her hooves are in poor shape. Mattie stands approx 15hh and is in good body condition, but may be a little overweight. She is walking on her soles and was tenderfooted on the concrete. She had no noticable pulse and no heat that I could feel in her front feet. She was a little anxious after being separated from the gelding she came in with, but settled down, and was easily led around by my daughter. She was very sweet, loved attention, quite the cuddlebug, and just wanted to be friends. With a little TLC for her hooves she should make a nice riding partner or friend for someone.
