DescriptionJohn Henry came into the lot starved skin and bones and has now made a comback heading towards recovery from the awful state he came in. He is a survivor and a strong old horse with a lot of will and heart. He looks to be at least 25 years old and was most likely ridden in the past judging from the saddle marks on his back. He is gentle, patient, and has been a good babysitter for colts at the lot. He stands approx 14'3hh and doesn't have any visible lameness, but I would expect he probably has some age related arthritis. John Henry has a very unique distinguishing mustache that makes him even more adorable. He is gentle enough for anyone to handle, leads well, loves any attention he can get, and really needs a nice place to retire. He deserves it after all he's gone through, and someplace other than the feedlot to call home.
I can't help but add a Tombsone quote:
"Johnny: And you must be Doc Holliday.
Doc: That's the rumor.
Johnny: What about you, are you retired?
Doc: Not me. I'm in my prime.
Johnny: Yeah, you look it."Purchasing InformationLocation: Sunnyside, WA Contact: Sabrina 206-250-5115 Deadline 6/29/16
