DescriptionGramps also known as "Tank" is my rehab pick of the week. This gentle giant stands 16hh and is going to need some good nutrition and TLC. His hooves need trimming as they have chips and some small cracks, and he has all sorts of things going on like lice, some rain rot, and ticks that hopefully I got all of them off. He is said to be an easy rider and easy to handle and haul, and said to hold his feet to trim. He picked up his feet just fine for me, did everything I asked of him, and was very patient with me touching him in all sorts of places looking for ticks. He is supposed to be good for anyone to ride and I believe it, but said to nip a little when chinching. I would guess this gentle guy just needs a soft handler and some weight put on him to be more comfortable being tacked up and ridden. It was said he was 15, but I'm guessing he could be older, in his 20's. I think he could make an amazing transformation with some care and good food with still many years as a riding partner in his future.
