DescriptionCalista is an elegant mare who has been previously used as a broodmare. She is not broke to ride due to a previous shoulder injury. She was very easy to handle, picked up her feet nicely, and had nice manners. She looks to be in good body condition and well cared for. I did not see any mobility issues resulting from the old shouder injury or any visible lameness at a walk and trot. She has a wonderful personality and is a very friendly mare who loved attention. She got along great with the other horses in the pen and handled herself very well in the stressful environment of auction and then kill pen. She stands approx 14'2hh.
