DescriptionUpdate: Vinsoni appeas to have a healing cut as pictured, but it did not seem to be a problem and he had no visible lameness. He appears to be in the 12-13 year age range based on his teeth. He tolerates weight, picks up his feet, and is very easy to handle on the ground.
Vinsoni just came out of the quarantine pen and is now back as available for purchase before shipping to slaughter. He appears to be in decent condition and sound, but will need a good amount of clean up and general TLC. He really is a nice gelding who came in with a group that I unfortunately never got information on from the previous owner. Some were said to be broke, but I do not know which ones. I do not know what level of training he has had, but he has always been easy to handle, gentle, and easy going. They had just been sorted and moved when I was there last so were just adjusting to their new pen, so I was not able to get a look at his teeth for an age. I would guess him to be in his early teens, but that is just a guess. Vinsoni should clean up well and I think will be a nice horse for someone who wants to spend a little time getting to know him and see what he knows. He has a new cut above his eye, but it did not look serious to me, and should heal just fine. He appears to stand approx 15hh.
