DescriptionRoper is a very nice geldin g who appeared to be sound and in good condition. He is said to be broke to ride, but I would assume he will need a tune up. He was easy enough for a beginner to handle, picked up his feet, tolerated weight, and had a willing to please attitude. I was told that he wasn't good with his back feet and had been a bit kicky, but I don't know the circumstances. I saw none of that and felt comfortable with my own daughter handling him. Because that was said, I would think he would be better suited for an intermediate to experienced home, and might make a good ranch or trail horse. He appeared to be in good condition, sound from what I could see, and had no viisible issues. He stands approx 15-15'1hh and has a medium build. I would guess him to be in the 10 year age range.
