DescriptionVolt is a big palomino gelding that is probably around 15.3hh and I'm guessing around 13 years old. I thought that I could make out white spots on his rear and so thought he was an Appaloosa, but I have been told that my eyes misled me and that he is a Quarter Horse. This horse comes with a history of being a broke saddle horse, however we did not see it with our own eyes. Volt was friendly and came right up to me. He was polite, well mannered and easy to handle, but he did wander off as soon as he thought you were done with him. He is a big boy with huge bone structure. He is one of the top-dogs at the lot and he has the scuff marks all over him from his battles to prove it - none of them looked more then superficial to me. This boy has no trouble getting around and maintaining his status, but he is at the kill pen because he was deemed unsound. I have video of him walking around, but was not able to get video of the trot or canter (both of which I witnessed). At the canter he seemed okay, but at the trot his right hind leg was stiff almost like what I have seen in some stringhalt horses.Purchasing InformationKP Information Deadline: Wednesday 4/10/13 Location: Sunnyside, WA Contact: Sabrina | info@auctionhorses.org | 206-250-5115
