DescriptionKarma is an bay roan Appy mare with light freckling over her rump and on her neck. She stands about 14.3hh and is very stoutly built. She is approximately 14 years old and appears to be healthy. Her feet are very overgrown and she does have a bit of arthritis. She is very friendly and exceptionally easy to handle. This mare leads, ties, backs, yields her fore and rear quarters, and picks up her feet very easily. She braces for weight and I would guess that she is broke to ride, however I do not know that for certain. Karma has spent the last couple years as a recipient mare. That means that she was used as an incubator for the fertilized eggs of more valuable mares who could not be risked or take time away from their careers to have foals. Recipient mares usually go directly to slaughter and are rarely seen by the public, so this is a rarely seen situation similar to the more widely known nurse mares. This mare seems to be very intelligent and deserves a chance at a better fate then being used by one industry and then disposed of by another.Purchasing InformationLocation: Sunnyside, WA Contact: Sabrina 206-25-5115 Deadline: 10/13/15
