DescriptionJakarta is a 9 year old chestnut Quarter Horse mare. She is said to be kid safe, and previously used in the mountains but got tired and would stumble.
UPDATE:
Jakarta is a pretty, grade Quarter Pony who stands about 13.3-14.1 hands. I only caught a glimpse of her teeth and couldn't tell if she has a Galvayne's groove or not, but I'd guess her to be at least 15 years old, possibly older. She needs some groceries and TLC, but once she's cleaned up and filled out she's going to be gorgeous. Her feet are overdue for a trim (picks up all four nicely); and she may be a little bit pigeon-toed (the picture of her fronts makes it look worse than it is). That could just be because she needs her feet done, or an issue with her conformation - I don't know. She's low on the totem pole in the herd, and pretty much keeps to herself.
I would say that she is most likely kid safe - I hung off of her neck and she just stood there. I didn't have a halter or lead rope with me, but she stood stock still when I jumped beside her and acted like I was going to mount. She was said to have been used for barrel racing 7 years ago. This is a nice mare; I like her a lot.
Her price is reduced from $300 to $250.Purchasing InformationLocation: Everson, WA Contact: Dani (360) 927-2653 - Text preferred
