DescriptionUpdate: Gold Rush has gained quite a bit of weight at the lot and spent some time in the quarantine pen. He looks so much better now and acts lively and healthy. He appears to be sound and is now in good body condition. He will be a training project and is now ready for his new home.
Gold Rush is said to be a young draft cross. I do not have an exact age on him but would guess in the 3-4 year age range based on appearance. Gold Rush looks to be sound and is gaining weight at the lot. I know no history on him and do not know if he has had any training. He did not want to be caught but did not act "wild", just unsure and scared. He was fine with me next to him and walking by him, but did not trust me enough to let me touch him. It could be his new environment, but I think he is going to be a project and will need training from the ground up. He looks like he will grow into a very nice horse with some good nutrition, daily care, and training. This gelding does have the tips of his ears rounded from frostbite.
