DescriptionThis older chestnut gelding has a mane that appears silver-ish. He is of a Quarter Horse type and appeared sound and in fairly good condition. He is good looking and it was said that he is broke for trails and kid safe. He's gotten a bit banged up since the auction. Doesn't seem to affect him in any way and he's still moving sound. This is a boy with a Golden Heart. All the mares in the pen with him really seem to want to be right at his side, almost touching him. It wasn't just one mare but several. The mares seemed to seek him out rather than the other way around, he doesn't seem to care one way or another; he just has that "something special" about him, that the ladies find irresistible. He stands around 15.3. He seems to trust and love, as nothing was off limits in regards to our touch; he was perfect for everything that we asked him to do.
Prior to the auction, amidst all the noise and chaos, he just had his head over the gate, watching everything with dignity. There's a lot of emotions that we experience when we attend these auctions but this guy's presence at the auction made us cry. He is so trusting and will give his whole heart to his new owner, and his new person will probably get the chance to experience what is called "The Heart Horse" with this boy.
