DescriptionThis 15 year old bay gelding was of Quarter Horse type. He appeared to be calm, sound and in average condition. He was said to be a cow and barrel horse for an advanced beginner. It was stated that he has lots of get-up-and-go, but he was dragging in the auction ring. There was a handwritten note on his pen before the auction, no age listed but it did say, " Harry, (Juno Cash Counts) Broke, advance beginner and up. Low on the totem pole". e's the herd boss for the group of horses he's housed with; the macho man. Likes running the others off so he can stand in that spot they were standing... ever have an older brother? ... it's like that. He wanted to see how much he could push and what he could get away with during his evaluations with us too. The other evaluators yelled out; Quinto made a move as if he was gonna bite me while my back was turned on him but when I turned around he quickly turned his head and looked the other way, (the older brother thing again). I walked back to him, gave him some love and he laid his head in my arms. The last 24 hours have been a real stress test. He never ACTUALLY did anything, when I had a hold of him he was fine. I kinda got the impression he's just a Big Ol Baby or a BOB as we call them in my family.
