DescriptionLana is a senior Appaloosa mare. She is reportedly broke to ride. This gal was very sweet and didn't mind being loved on or letting me pick a bur off her girth area. She's taller than the gelding and in a lot better shape. Except for her feet they are a mess, she was a little resistant to letting me pick up her foot and once I hand it she rocked back onto her hinds and hopped a little. I'm not sure if it was the frozen ground out on the slab or if it hurt her for me to pick up the foot or if she is just bad about it but I let her have it back once she had the other three on the ground. I did not halter them just played with them loose. She did not want me to look at her teeth, though let me get her lip up before she jerked her head away and raised her lip at me. She liked being petted on her head and scratched. Aside from the feet she is in pretty good shape. She might have a slight twist to this left front leg.
