HistoryKelta was purchased at the Feb 2010 auction. She was a gorgeous horse both inside and out. She would do anything under the sun to please you and she was a really nice riding mare. She was originally bought by a rescuer who adopted her out. That adoption did not go well and she was returned in poor condition with a serious leg injury. She required a long rehab and would never be able to do all that she had before. Another home adopted her and she was a light riding horse for a child and husband. Eventually that home leased her out to a family that needed her more. She was once again returned by now was crippled in three legs.DescriptionKelta's owner applied for RB because Kelta was now completely unsound, depressed and in a great deal of pain. After evaluation, the written evaluation of the mare's farrier along with a consult of her previous vet records, it was decided that she qualified for RB. Kelta was put down on 8/12/12 at QAR.
