DescriptionThis chestnut gelding was said to be a 15 year old Saddlebred. He is a very big boy and probably stands around 16.2hh but he is also massive in build and of the old style. He was not ridden during the auction, but was said to be a trail/ocean dude string horse. He had good legs and feet, but he is slightly underweight and has what appears to be an eye infection in his eyes. He was enormously friendly and really wanted attention both days we were there, however the second day he was very scared (most the horses were due to moving bulls and an incoming storm) and so was much more flighty then he had been the previous day. He was responsive to my cues and very aware of my location and careful to avoid bumping me even when he was frightened. He led, tied (nervously), backed, and picked up his feet.
