DescriptionJet stands 16hh and weighs in over 1250 pounds. He is dead broke and has been with the same owner since he was 6 months old. Jet has had 6 months of cutting horse training, has been roped off of, side passes, and responds to leg pressure. You can open and close gates on him, and also packed elk as a three year old. He has been ridden by young children and has not bucked since the first time a saddle was put on him at 6 months old. You can ride him with any bit, or without, but prefers a snaffle, or a tom thumb when ridden by kids. He is UTD with an 8-way and west nile, and has been wormed on schedule. The last time he was saddled and ridden was in August. Jet is a great horse, but does have some issues. He has been vetted and had x-rays and the previous owner told me he is arthritic in the suspensory ligament to the coffin bone and navicular. He has been on half a tablet of Previcox daily given in maple syrup and Nutracool. The previous owner also told me that Jet also needs to be shod at a 54/56 degree angle with the toe taken off for break over in the front, and bar shoes. Jet is a sweetheart of a horse and should have many years left as a light riding kids horse that will make him well worth his keep. He is sold as grade. No papers are available.
