DescriptionThis buckskin mare was reported to be an 7 year old Quarter Horse crossbreed. She stands in at 14.1hh and had a sturdier build. In the ring she was fairly calm. They reported that she has had all her ground work done and she did not misbehave anywhere that I saw so I am inclined to believe them. From what I saw, the mare looked like she was very responsive to the owner, listened, and tried very hard to please. She did a few pivoting turns, backed up and was showing how she yields to the owner's movements. The various times we saw this girl throughout the day, she appeared calm and friendly. And that says a lot about a horse coping in an extraordinarily stressful environment.
