DescriptionThe familiar face of an old friend is usually a wonderful sight, but not when it is back in a pen of horses destined to ship to slaughter, the same pen that he was in earlier this year. He was just as friendly as I remembered and greeted me like an old friend, still marked with the tell-tale sign of feedlot life, his mane worn off from the feed bunk and just starting to grow back. He was a young rack of bones when I first met him, too skinny to be worth much for meat, so he was re-fed, wormed, and actually had love as he lived at the feedlot. He was our buddy, and now he is back, in the same pen, failed and sold for meat, and still as sweet as before. he is there through no fault of his own, just simply thrown away by his rescuer. Nitro stands about 16hh and and appears to be sound. He has a small wound to his inside upper front leg that I did not take pictures of because I didn't think we would be listing him as he was unlisted before. It should be something that will heal without issue. Purchasing InformationDeadline: 7/31/14 Location: Sunnyside, WA Contact: Sabrina 206-250-5115
