DescriptionOrtega was said to be a registered Friesian Sport Horse, I believe her papers are available but anyone seriously interested should double check with the ESP office. She is very mouthy, although she mostly bites things, not people. She was very upset during her evaluation because her mom had just been taken away but still was fairly well behaved. Most of the time she will respect your space but sometimes she forgets to pay attention and you have to remind her to focus. She is responsive and light on the lead, backs and yields her hindquarters. Her feet are overdue for a trim but otherwise decent, she will pick them up when asked but does it very quickly and does not hold them up very well. I think she may be better about her feet without the distraction of her mom having just been taken away. Ortega does appear to have sweet itch and is scabby on her neck, has rubbed out a large section of mane and has sores on her chest.
