DescriptionThis donkey jenny is black and appears to be around 4 years old and stands about 13hh. #216 and #217 came in as a pair and were run through the auction loose. These donkeys are perhaps a bit underweight, but their main problem is their feet. I don't think that their hind feet have ever been trimmed and they are extremely bad. The feet are very long and twisted and I'm not sure that there isn't permanent damage. Both donkeys were extremely scared at the auction and do not appear to be used to people. I was able to put a halter on both of them, but I don't think that they are halterbroke. I was also able to pick up the front feet of both donkeys, but they kick badly about their back feet. I do not think these girls have ever been handled much at all and they seemed to be very afraid. They let me handle them but it seemed to be more out of fear then anything else and they did not really relax even when just been petted and scratched.
