DescriptionButtercup is said to be a 15 year old palomino Quarter Horse mare. She stands about 14.3hh and is in good weight and has shoes on her front feet. This mare was ridden through the auction and she rode quite nicely. Frankly I was shocked that she ended up in the kill pen. I do have to say that she had a mean and nasty attitude out back and threatened to bite and kick several times. She never did follow through on biting me and when I got on her case about threatening to bite me, she went and bit her own shoulder instead. I don't know what is up with that, but she appears to be a healthy horse and she rode well. This is not the first time I have seen this horse at the auction.
