Description

Rusty and Missy need homes immediately and will ship on the next truck. Because of their special feed needs, they can not stay on the lot because they will starve and "holds" will not be accepted (with the exception of "I am in route with a trailer" type). They are very good weight (1100 and 1200lbs) and are being offered at a lower than normal price to help give them a chance at a retirement. They do not need to stay together but it would be nicer if they could. The gelding is Rusty and he is 25, broke to ride for anyone, good weight, needs mash due to dental issues. He can't eat hay. Missy is 34 and the previous owners had her since birth. She is at a good weight and can eat hay but was on mash. Their feet are long and overdue. He is about 15hh and she's about 14'2. Rusty is a 25 year old Appaloosa gelding and Missy is his 34 year old companion. The previous owners had Missy since birth and they could no longer afford to care for them. Both are at a good weight and have been well fed with LMF senior grain and hay. Rusty has dental issues so he is on a mostly grain diet and only given hay to entertain himself. Both are broke to ride, very, very sweet and lovable, and have excellent manners. Their feet are in need of trimming and long overdue. They said Rusty had no eye issues and his eyes also looked good to me. The previous owners say they rode them bareback and without a bit and that they are both sound. They really need out of here ASAP and deserve a retirement home rather than slaughter. The feedlot owner will let them go for $250 each if they leave soon. If not, they will be in the next truck as they weigh about 1100 and 1200 pounds each. Please call if you would like to purchase them. 206-250-5115. Thank you.
