Description15.2 hand big bodied Red Dun gelding was led through the sales ring; reported to be broke. Very friendly the night of the sale and would walk up to greet every new person that walked by his pen. On the day of the evaluation he walked across the length of the pen to volunteer himself to be haltered. So he is VERY easy to catch. He does have a crack with swelling on his front left hoof. He appears completely sound on it though and allowed me to lift, poke and prod at this hoof with no fuss at all. All his toes need a trim, but he's at a good weight. Looks like he may have been blanketed too since he doesn't appear to have the "winter woolies" SUCH a good boy and so lovable too! We couldn't stop ourselves; we kept kissing, and kissing, and kissing that nose of his. Three other horses in the pen wanted to join up with him, and he was pretty indifferent of their attention. That is until his buddy was brought from out of the sale barn (#003), this guy was very excited to see his long lost pal. So much so that he now tries to keep the other horses away from his buddy. So we got to see him run around a bit, so he looks very sound at a walk, trot, and gallop. Gorgeous boy!!
